We are in Goodland, Kansas today.  This is in the north western part of the state.  We are in a KOA campground that is nice.  Not much around but it is country and that is fine with me.  We will be here today and tomorrow we leave to go to Estes Park, CO.  There is not a lot to see between Wichita and Goodland, but what you do see you can see for 20 miles, it seems.  A lot of wheat, hay and corn here.  It is the planting season so not all the crops are out of the ground but there were some young wheat  and corn fields.

Today is a rest day so not much going on.  We are trying to get accumulated to the elevation because tomorrow we will be around 7,000 feet.  Drinking plenty of water to avoid altitude sickness.  Looking forward to seeing our sister in-law who we have not seen for about a year and a half.  She lives in Estes Park and will escort us around to all there is to see and do.  We will be there about 10 days before moving on to the Grand Tetons.  Can't wait!!
