Well the motorcycles have invaded us here at Custer and we are about 65 miles from Sturgis.  Custer has blocked off the streets and motorcycles are parked all up and down the street in the middle.  Hill City has blocked off the main street and cars and trucks have to go around.  And this was Friday, the rally does not start until Sunday.  Hate to see what next week is like.

Weather has turned cool here, but we were able to go kayaking late this afternoon.  It warmed some but not enough to go swimming and stay warm.  Saturday is suppose to be 67 high.  (I know you southerners wish you were here).  We went to Deerfield Reservoir outside of Hill City.  This lake is great and is crystal clear.  Good places to put the kayaks in and not get snake bit.  We loved it and it was not to hot either.  Love just floating in the water.

We saw a Golden Eagle catching fish for her young that were in a nest on the other side of the lake from where we were.  As you know they have big nest and we watched, using the binoculars, while she flew around and came back to the nest with food.  No photos.  I need a newer and bigger camera and lens to zoom that far.
