Saturday, Sunday and Monday, July 30 - Aug 1, 2016

On Saturday, we went to Stockade Lake and had a picnic and did some kayaking.  The lake is inside Custer State Park and is one of the biggest lakes in the park, but it is really not that big, maybe 30 or 40 acres.  It was the first time out for the kayaks and they did very well.  One is an inflatable and the other hard plastic.  Not very expensive but did a good  job.  Only one problem, how in the heck am I going to get them home.  The inflatable is not the problem, the other one is because it will not fit inside the basement of the RV.  I guess I will have to tie it on with rope and hope for the best!

On Sunday, we did not go out but stayed around the RV and campsite.  Cindy cleaned all day, go figure!!

On Monday, we went to Sylvan Lake inside Custer park and it is one of the scenic lakes and was in the movie National Treasure.  We had a picnic at this lake, if that is what you want to call it.  I ate my turkey and cheese running for the truck hoping the bread would not get soggy, because a storm came up and run us out.

After leaving the lake we went to Keystone because Cindy wanted to Christmas shop.  Yes Children, if you were asked about it, you are going to get it for Christmas!!
