June 9, 2016

Today we stayed around the RV campground til about noon and then we went to
Teton Village to check out the tram rides.  Cindy is not a big fan of heights and so we wanted to check and see if this was something she would enjoy.  On the way to the Teton Village we saw a Grizzly in the woods feeding.  On the way back we saw another Grizzly feeding.  They were about 20 miles apart so we knew it had to be two different bears.  We have seen plenty of Grizzly bears during our time in the Tetons.  Not sure if it is because they just woke up from the winter hibernation or what, but they are out every where.

We arrived at the tram and saw the prices and decided that it was not worth $75 to ride up the side of a mountain.  But the Teton Village had a lot more stuff than we first thought.  We had gone there on another occasion (as you know if you are following the blog).  They had several shops that were of interest.  One was run by an Indian tribe and they had a lot of expensive things such as jewelry, hats, rugs and dresses made of deer skin, etc. Cindy of course bought some gifts.

We left after refreshments at one of the local snack shops and drove back to camp.
