Today we explored the Teton Park Road.  There are several interesting stops along this road to visit and get out of the truck and do some site seeing.  We stopped at Colter Bay (look it up on the map of the Tetons).  That may have been a mistake because now Cindy wants to go Kayaking in the lake.  She saw several other couples doing it and now she would like for us to go for about 2 hours.  It will be fun but Cindy cannot swim!  Lot of guts to go out with a guy that she makes take off his shoes before he can go into his RV.  Or at least half of his RV.  But we will probably go on Monday afternoon to do this activity.  May the best man or woman win!!

We went onto a summit that had narrow roads but carried us to about 6500 feet or better (was not marked) and the view from up there was great.  We could see a large valley below on one side and a river that fed into a lake on the other.  It was beautiful to see.
We also saw one elk cow feeding on the fresh grass on the hill side.  It seemed that you could see forever.
After the summit we went looking for animals but did not see anything on Teton Parkway.

We took some beautiful photos in several places around Jenny’s Lake with the Teton Mountains in the background.

We also stopped at the Jackson Lake damn and took photos.  This is a pretty area and apparently a good fishing area, because we saw several your men fishing there.  Did not see them catch anything and that is why I am a little hesitant to say it is definitely a good spot.

We left the Teton Parkway and traveled 191 highway back to our RV site at Headwater at Flagg Ranch.  As we were traveling north on this road we saw a heard of Buffalo or as some call them Bison.  Why they call them that I do not know because have you ever heard of Bison Bill.  Heck no it is Buffalo Bill!!!  Anyway these things were all over the road and so close if you got out of the truck you would have to get them to move over.  We got several good photos until an 18 wheeler, cattle truck, came along and blew his horn so loud that it caused a stamped of the buffalo. Of course, Cindy started yelling at the driver like it was going to do some good and shaking her hand and fist at him.
