We had a good day and a lot of fun seeing all the canyons and water falls. We went high in elevation today also. So far there was still snow in some places.
Ok here are the photos that we took. I cannot put all of them on here because we took over 125.
You will see a nest of the Osprey that live around the canyons. See if you can spot it.
The photos are in the reverse order from the way we saw them and took the photos. These photos that appear next are from our last stop. They are of the Mammoth Springs, and the high photo of the area surrounding the visitor center at Albright Visitor Center. You can see the building at Fort Yellowstone to the right in the photo
These are photos of the geysers at Mammoth Springs
In the bottom photo is the Fort Yellowstone buildings. They were built for the Army in the 1880's and are still in use today. All the ones with the red roof to the right in the photo.
Now the two Elk were taking a nap and were pissed off that we woke them, it appears. They were laying around the Post Office at the Visitor Center.

This is the river that runs through the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
This is a different water fall than in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It is in the beginning of the canyon however.
The above photo is the walls of the canyon and made of course of rocks. Some of the rock people this is for you (Marie).
The above and below photos are of the falls in the canyon.
